This Little Piggy

Hello Scrapland!  Didn’t we all play that little game with all of our babies?  Well, I love that Scraps of Ellay and Knittenjen Designs decided it was time for someone to make a scrapping kit just for those precious moments!  They teamed up and created a super cute kit full of pigs and piggy elements, and I just love it!  Check out the page I made using the template from this month’s STS Template Challenge:

Grateful Sentiments

Hello Scrapland!  Is everyone as ready for the weekend as I am?  I’m having my sons’ birthday party (yes, one party for both :) ) this weekend at Chuck E Cheese’s.  I usually do a big production at home, so this will be a welcome relief.  Especially since all three of us have been sick all week. 

But, I’m not here to chat your ear off.  I’m here to show you River  Rose’s new goodies!  This week she teamed up with Jayaprem’s Hangout to create a beautiful kit that you can use for Thanksgiving layouts, or just any layout you want to create about something/someone you are grateful for.  They really did an outstanding job!  Here’s the layout I created with it, also in conjunction with the Scraplift Challenge over at FPD:

Trick or Treat

Hello Scrapland!  Is everyone completely soaked in the Halloween mood yet?  I know I am!  I was so happy when I saw that Both of the designers I create for did Halloween kits this year!  (It’s my favorite holiday)  So, today I’m here to show you the Halloween kit Scraps of Ellay made this year.  It’s a collab with Rainamoon Scraps (also at STS) and it’s super cute!  Check out what I did with it:

I Remember

Hello Scrapland!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  I have to work all weekend, but before I head off to that job I wanted to show you the River Rose kit that I gave you a sneak peek of earlier this week.  The kit is called I Remember, and it’s a beautiful fall colored kit!  I had so much fun making a layout with this kit that I used my layout as inspiration to make a desktop background for this fall season.  Here are the layouts:

River Rose Sneak Peek and Freebie!

Hello Scrapland!  Happy monday!  River Rose has been busy for the past few weeks creating kits like a machine, cranking them out!!  She’s in the Designer’s Apprentice competition over at DSA, which just ended the fifth and final week.  Plus, she’s been adding her normal 1 kit a week to her store at FPD.  She’s amazing!  So, first I want to show you a sneak peek of the awesome kit she will be releasing this friday.  AND if you click the sneak peek, you will be taken  to her blog where you could win it for FREE if you leave a nice comment.

River Rose and Goodbye to Funky :(

Hello Scrapland!  I’ve been busy lately!  And unfortunately, it wasn’t “busy scrapping.”  Life has just been getting away from me I think.  But I’m back to show you a few kits that I was able to play with in the past couple of weeks.  First, I want to show you what I did with River Rose’s Halloween kit that I gave you a sneak peek of a little while ago.

River Rose has also put out 2 kits this week, and I had so much fun scrapping with both of them!  The first one I’m going to show you is a fun and funky collab that she did with Funky Playground Designs store owner Michelle Batton called Child of Funk.  Here’s the layout I did with the Collection:

She also put a fun guy kit in store today called Modern Man.  I love the feel of the kit and her word art is super fun!  Here’s what I did with it:

Now I have some sad news…I’m no longer a Funky Girl over at Funky Playground Designs.  I had a TON of fun creating for the store while I was there, but they decided to redo the Creative Team, and I decided that I just don’t have enough time nowadays to put my all into their new requirements.  If I can ever let myself plunge back into this habit full force, I’m hoping to go back some day.  So, to say goodbye, I did one final layout for them using a really cute Halloween collab by Girl Boy Girl Designs and Stolen Moments.  Here’s the page I did:
