My little has less than two months, and she is 1. Here are the papers. They are in two files, so links will be under the preview. Until next time, enjoy scrapping!

Almost Here

Good evening Scrapland! Okay. I am almost done with the first party of the birthday kits. The girls will arrive tomorrow. I still have several ideas for elements and papers, but there has to be a stopping point. Having said this, I am sure there will be an add on soon to follow. I am having so much fun designing this. I hope you will enjoy it. Here is a sneak peak. I will be back tomorrow!

Booze Hound and Pool Sharks QPs

Good evening Scrapland! We would like to thank BB for the wonderful QPs. Here are two more, one using Booze Hound and one using our Pool Sharks kit. These are wonderful. I actually don't have any pictures to put in them, but I will work on taking some. I am working on a kit to use for my daughter's first birthday in two months. What we have decided to do is make one for a girl and one for a boy. I used the hugs and stitches pattern for my son, and I will be using this pattern for my daughter. So, the kits match the hugs and stitches birthday sets. I will start with the girl kits, and I intend to get the papers out tomorrow. Being a military spouse during transfer season, and we are getting ready to move, and being a graduate student is very time consuming. When I have the chance to have "me time", I design. Hope everyone enjoys the QPs...again BB thank you. These are GREAT! Have a good evening, and I will be back tomorrow.
Alice

Booze Hound Elements

Hello Scrapland! I hope everyone is having a mighty fine hump day! It's beautiful here in the Chicagoland area again. Bright and sunny, which puts me in a good mood :)

Before I get to today's Booze Hound freebie, I wanted to tell you about a blog train going on right now called "Fairy Tale Wedding." You might have seen it around. It's a forum blog train done by the talented designers that hang out at the Digi-Designs By Nicole forum and it's in beautiful hues of blue/green/purple or maybe periwinkle or something....Well, I'm not too good with colors but they are pretty. Ellay has some really pretty word art up on her site today and I think most of the ladies have almost everything up for downloading already so if you like what you see, head on over! The preview will take you to Ellay's blog and you can head on out from there!

Photobucket

Ok, on to the goodies for today, I am happy to announce that you get ALL of the Booze Hound elements today in one file! Nope, I'm not teasing you like I did with Pool Shark, you get ALL of the drinks and ALL of the other stuff in one shot today! Click the preview to go to the download link and happy scrapping!

We'll see you back here tomorrow for the alpha! (You have to at least come check it out, Alice made a super cute alpha that fits PERFECTLY with this kit!)

Booze Hound Papers

Hello Scrapland! I first want to thank everyone who have left comments because everytime Alice and I see a new one we get really excited! So, thank you very much! And we are glad you are enjoying the kits!

Now, if you have read the rest of our posts and downloaded Pool Shark you can skip to the next paragraph. If you are new to our blog, I just want to let you know that Booze Hound is a full kit addon to our Pool Shark kit with coordinating papers and elements so you might want to at least pick up the other stuff from Pool Shark to have a little more variety. Also, if you are here to pick up Booze Hound but you don't play pool, in addition to my advice to pick up the other stuff from Pool Shark, I have put together all of the non-pool papers from Pool Shark in one file that you can download under the Booze Hound papers. :)

Ok, let's get to the goods. Today we have the Booze Hound papers for you. There are two downloads so the links are under the preview. First is a LO I did for a template challenge at Digi-Designs By Nicole's forum and the layout was made using Booze Hound and a template by MandaK.

Kinda Springy QPs

Good Evening Scrapland! I hope everyone had a great Monday. Well, we are not quite done with Booze Hound. We are having problems on finding a stopping point. However, I have some QPs as a freebie tonight. Someone who has downloaded our kits was nice enough to make some QPs for us and for you. Thank you BB! Here are the previews for the QPs, and I have included one that I used! Below the previews will be the link for the download. Enjoy!

Just a quick Hello

Hello Scrapland! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. We are looking forward to posting our next kit, Booze Hound. As stated, this was going to be an add on, but it has grown into a kit of its own. This kit coordinates with Pool Shark, so everyone will have one mega kit. We noticed a comment by BB about having two quick pages. That is so great! Here is an email that anyone can send us information regarding any link problems, suggestions, and if they are kind enough to make qps. See ya Monday!

Pool Shark Alpha

Hello Scrapland! I'm posting this the night before because I have a lot to do tomorrow and don't want to rush myself....I'm sure you know how that goes :) I hope everyone is enjoying this kit as much as I enjoyed making it! I can't wait to put out Booze Hound next week! Alice and I have been having a blast working together on it.

Before I get to the alpha, I wanted to show you a super cool kit on sale now at One Single Seed for only $2.50!! It's a very cute baby kit made by Digi-Designs By Nicole called "Little One." I love the colors of the kit! If you have kids you could definately scrap some SUPER cute lo's with it! So, if you would like to get this kit (I mean, how could you pass it up?) just click on the preview to take you right there!

Little One

Well, that's all for today so: Click on the alpha preview to take you to the link!

See you next week to bring you some more digital scrapbooking freebies!

Pool Shark Other Stuff

Hello Scrapland! First I wanted to take a minute to thank Ellay for her comments and putting us on her blog! We don't get much traffic around here so those have really brightened our days! Thanks! We are really having fun with these kits and hope that they will get out to people that can use them.

Speaking of, Booze Hound is almost ready so it will be released next week as planned! It's definately it's own kit, but it does color coordinate and completely match up with Pool Shark. So if you were to get both kits, you'd essentially have one mega "bar/drinking/pool" kit good for any of those fun outings or parties with your friends! I would show you a sneak peek but since it's the same colors as Pool Shark, it wouldn't really be worth it :) So, it's a surprise!

You can get the second set of elements, or the "other stuff," for Pool Shark using the link below the preview.

Enjoy! Hope to see you back here tomorrow for the alpha!

Pool Shark Freebie Kit Balls

Hello Scrapland! I'm here with the second part of Pool Shark. The elements will be spread out over today and tomorrow because I made all of the pool balls twice. There is a regular version and a chrome version. I kept both because I liked both of them. So, today you get the balls and tomorrow you get the other stuff. Thanks for stopping by!

Download link for the balls is under the preview.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Pool Shark is here!

Hello Scrapland! I hope you are all having as beautiful a St. Patty's Day as I am here in the Chicagoland area. It's only 9:30am and alreay 59 degrees. (It was aweful last week, tons of rain and before that freezing temperatures and snow) Hopefully I'll make it to the park with my kids today to enjoy some of the sunshine.

Well, if anyone is reading this you are probably here about our new freebie Pool Shark. I made this a couple of months ago because I wanted to scrap the pictures I have of my friends and me playing pool at the local bar and I couldn't find any already made kits out there that would fit my need. Now, if you don't play pool or have pictures of someone playing pool but you do have bar pictures, you can pick up the papers and elements of this kit and I have recently decided to do an addon (which will probably become a full kit itself) more geared towards bar stuff. It's called Booze Hound, so come on back to check that out sometime next week!

Here are the layouts I did using Pool Shark:

And here is a preview of the kit. The download links for the papers are under the preview. Come back tomorrow for the elements!

Kinda Springy Elements

Hello Scrapland! I would like to talk about the file names so nobody gets confused. I have found in a lot of other kits out there that the designers name their files the generic element 1..2..3 and paper 1..2..3 and when I’m looking for a specific element or paper I have to wait for the thumbnails to load in order to find it. It’s not that big of a deal, I’m just an impatient person sometimes. Well, you’ll probably have to do the same thing with my kits (hehe, you thought I was going to make it easy for you didn’t you?), but I enjoy playing around so almost all of my files will have relatively strange names. I hope you can get a little enjoyment out of my madness, but if you can’t, that’s too bad. You’ll still have the kit to play with and maybe you can get some enjoyment from that!

I also wanted to let you all know that sometime next week we will be releasing a Pool Shark kit loaded with billiard papers and elements and even a couple of drinks since I always play pool in a bar when I play. It's the first kit I made and I was really happy with it so come back and check it out!!

Now for today's freebie. You get the elements for Kinda Springy today and tomorrow I have a chipboard alpha to go with it, so come back if you're interested!

Kinda Springy Papers

Hello Scrapland! I'm excited to announce the first freebie on our blog! It's called Kinda Springy and I made it for a color challenge at Digital Candy called Whet Your Pallette. (Most of you probably already know that though and that's why you're here :) ) Well, I won't bore you with any more of the details. I've put up the papers today and the elements will be tomorrow and Sunday will be the alpha. I hope you like it! (Or at least enough of it to want to download and play!) See you back here tomorrow!

Introductions

Hello Scrapland! We know that this post will probably be read by no one, but it will be in our archives if anyone wants to read our introduction. First and foremost, yes there are two of us running this blog! We are REALLY good friends who met in North Carolina when Alice’s husband and Katie were both stationed there. We happened to move into a couple of condos right next to each other and have kids within a couple of months of each other. As soon as our boys became old enough to play with toys and such (and Katie got out of the military to become a SAHM), we quickly found each other’s friendship to be fun and essential. We spent almost all day everyday together letting the boys play with each other, finding fun excursions to go on, and of course SCRAPPING! Katie was a paper scrapper but Alice really liked to use the computer to make photo creations. Alice would scan in papers and stickers and such for her to digi scrap with and then give the stuff to Katie to use for her paper scrapping. That is, until we found the digi scrapping world full of high resolution supplies that were ready to use! Now we are both highly addicted to digital scrapbooking, with no end in sight!

Both of our husbands are still in the military- Katie’s in the Marine Corps and Alice’s in the Coast Guard, but our friendship is thriving because of the internet! We live a thousand miles apart but it’s almost like we still live right on the other side of the wall from each other except that our children can’t play together anymore. That’s pretty much why we decided to start this blog together. We consult with each other on and help each other with everything, it would be silly for us to have two separate blogs. Everything you will find on this blog was truly created by BOTH Alice and Katie.

We have so many ideas for things we want to put out, but we are beginners and we don’t have all the time in the world. But, we will be trying really hard to hone our talents and get things put together to share with everyone. We hope there are people out there who will benefit from our two brains and hard work and zaniness and we’ll see you back here with some freebies!
